Within 7 days from 07-03-2018 to 14-03-2018 top gainers were the stocks of the German companies Adidas and E.ON. They advanced more than 10%. The sportswear and equipment manufacturer Adidas announced the buy-back of its own stocks for a total of 3 bln euros, as well as published positive forecasts of its activities until 2020. The quotes of the energy holdings E.ON and RWE advanced thanks to positive industry outlook. Top losers of the week were the stocks of the marketing and communication company WPP PLC after one of its major clients Procter & Gamble announced a reduction in advertising costs. On the foreign exchange, note the weakening of the Turkish lira and the Japanese yen, as well as the strengthening of the Mexican peso.
